The Smarty Symbols project was a transformative initiative aimed at revolutionizing the way speech therapists and educators create and utilize custom visual supports. Originally developed with outdated technology, this project required a comprehensive system overhaul and the development of new core modules, including the Custom Visuals Editor, Printing Center, and Game Center. By leveraging modern web technologies, I enhanced the user experience, introduced a rich feature set, and ensured the platform met the diverse needs of speech-language pathologists.

Solution: I implemented a complete technology upgrade, ensuring the system was robust, secure, and user-friendly.
Time Consumption: Therapists often faced long hours creating visuals.
Solution: By developing the Custom Visuals Editor, I significantly reduced the time needed to create effective supports, allowing therapists to focus more on their clients.
Lack of Diversity in Resources: There was a need for a broader range of visual aids tailored to various speech therapy needs.
Solution: I expanded the library of customizable visuals, ensuring therapists could meet diverse client requirements.
